What we do with your information.
This policy describes exactly what data this site collects, what happens to it, and what you can ask of us. It is written from what the site actually does, not from what pages like this usually say.

Who handles your data
Agora Labs is a consultancy being formed in Costa Rica. Until the company is formally incorporated, the data sent through this site is handled by its founding partners.
Registered name and corporate ID: [PENDING] — both will be published here as soon as the company is entered in the Registro Nacional.
What information we collect
The site asks nothing of you in order to browse it. The only information you give us is what you voluntarily write in the contact form:
- Full name.
- Company.
- Role, if you choose to give it.
- Email address.
- Phone number, if you choose to give it.
- Approximate number of people who run the process.
- The process you want to improve.
- A description of the main problem.
- The tools you use today, if you choose to list them.
- Whether you have information or examples available.
- The result you are hoping for, if you choose to describe it.
- Your preferred means of contact.
- Your explicit authorisation to process this data.
The form also carries a hidden field that is never shown to you and that you should never fill in: it exists to discard automated submissions. If it arrives with content, the request is discarded without being processed.
As things stand: the form does not deliver anything yet
The site currently has no delivery channel connected. When you submit the form, the data is validated on the server and discarded immediately: it is not written to any database, not emailed, and not passed to any third party. The form tells you so on screen rather than pretending the request arrived.
The server records one technical line confirming the action ran, without the contents of the form.
When a delivery channel is connected, this section will be updated before it starts operating, and the sections below describe how the data will be handled from that point.
What we use it for
Only to respond to your request:
- To review the case and decide whether the free visual exploration is a good fit.
- To reply to you by the means you chose.
- To prepare the session, if one is arranged.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles, we make no automated decisions about you, and we do not sell or hand your data to anyone.
On what basis
On your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. Without that box ticked, the form does not submit.
You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing it does not undo what was done beforehand, but it does stop any further processing.
Who else is involved
The site is hosted on Vercel, which as the infrastructure provider processes the technical logs involved in serving a web page, including the IP address you connect from. Vercel retains those logs under its own policies.
There is no other third party. We load no analytics, no heatmaps, no social buttons, no embedded video and no advertising. The typefaces are served from this same domain, so your browser makes no request to Google when the page opens.
How long we keep it
While there is no delivery channel, none of it: nothing is stored.
Once one is connected, we will keep enquiries that do not lead to work for a maximum of twelve months and then delete them. If a case does lead to work, the information becomes part of that project's record and is kept for the duration of the relationship and any applicable legal period.
Your rights
Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data gives you, among others, the right to:
- Know what data of yours we hold and where it came from.
- Ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask for it to be deleted.
- Withdraw the consent you gave.
To exercise any of these, write to the contact address in the footer. We reply on business days.
If you believe we did not deal with your request properly, you can go to the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB).
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS and exposes no database. When the delivery channel is connected, requests will travel encrypted and access will be limited to Agora Labs' partners.
Please do not send sensitive information through the form: other people's personal data, credentials, financial information, or anything your company treats as confidential. That is what a confidentiality agreement is signed for first.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does with your data changes, this page changes first and the date above is updated. We do not treat continued browsing as acceptance of a change: if it affects an enquiry you already sent us, we will tell you.
